Greg, one of Professor Ian Matheson's new students, was an arrogant American who was a student of he occult. Specifically, Greg was an expert in traditional Guarani Indian ways. Soon after joining Ian's graduate mythology class, Greg declared that he (and not the "old" professor) was the one who truly understood the practical basis for mythology.
This student used Voodoo to torment Randi (the "She-Wolf of London") and Ian. Among other things, Greg uses traditional Voodoo doll (and needle) techniques against Randi and Ian.
The student eventually learns Randi's secret (that she is a werewolf) and tries to use her transformation to further his own goals. Randi ultimately must battle the student for control of the werewolf.
