Note that the cover dates of the issues of Captain America Comics in which Hitler first appeared may appear confusing: Captain America Comics #1 (May 1941), followed by an issue published later, but with a seemingly earlier cover date, Captain America Comics #2 (Apr. 1941). These are the actual, correct cover dates.
Adolf, Osamu Tezuka's last major work before his death in 1989, is his first full-length work available in English. It's the story of three individuals named Adolf: a Jewish boy living in Japan, a half-Japanese/half- German boy, and the leader of Nazi Germany. This is a wonderfully fresh perspective on the events of World War II. The first issue in this mini-series series was Adolf #1 (22 Mar. 1996).
Adolf Hitler is a significant character in the Warrior Nun Areala comics published by Antarctic Press. He is an enemy of the Warrior Nuns and the Catholic Corps. Hitler in these comics is explicitly portrayed as a Nazi occult pagan and an apostate Catholic. He is described as an anti-Christian and a self-excommunicate. Hitler is directly opposed by the Vatican and heroic Catholics, including the Warrior Nuns.
