Although Anarky had originally been created to reflect the philosophy of Anarchism, the primary influence on both volumes was the philosophy of Neo-Tech, an offshoot of Objectivism. The comic was overtly political in nature, exploring a number of themes including antimilitarism, homelessness, and political corruption.
