In Books of Magic #74, King Auberon appears disguised as Alpanu Lasas. Because Auberon (a king) was able to convincingly disguise himself as Alpanu Lasas, we're assuming Alpanu Lasas is also male. But this might not be true. With the amount of magic in play in this story, King Auberon could conceivably disguise himself as a female.
