Judomaster #89 is actually the first issue of Charlton's short-lived "Judomaster" comic book series. This issue continues the numbering from Gunmaster #88. The series would remain titled "Judomaster" through issue #98 (a total of ten issues).

The Judomaster story in this issue is divided into two parts, both of which were created by same writer/artist and both of which comprise a single narrative story. The parts are:
