King Kull is also known as: Kull. Originally published as King Kull, later editions of this anthology were titled Kull.

"Wizard and Warrior" is a Kull story which Kull creator Robert E. Howard began writing. The story was never published during his lifetime. A fragment of the story was found Lin Carter, who edited a number of Howard collections and completed or finalized multiple unfinished Howard stories so they could be published. Howard is thought to have originally written the story fragment in 1929.
