This publication is also known as: Ka-Zar (vol. 4) #1 or Ka-Zar: The Burning Season #1. Some sources identify this series as Ka-Zar volume 4, because it is the fourth comic book series titled simply "Ka-Zar." Other sources identify this as volume 5, counting an ongoing Ka-Zar series that began in April 1981 as "Ka-Zar" volume 3. The complete title of that series, however, was Ka-Zar the Savage. So whether or not this 2011-launched five-issue Ka-Zar series is Ka-Zar "volume 4" or "volume 5" depends on whether one counts "Ka-Zar the Savage" as a "volume" of "Ka-Zar."
