The short comic story titled "The Stoneman" appeared as a backup feature in Kull the Destroyer #12. It is almost certainly a filler piece, included because the feature story in the issue was only 15 pages long. "The Stoneman" originally was published in Journey Into Mystery #70 (July 1961). The original version of the story was 5 pages long. This version has been reformatted so that it is only 4 pages long.
