Superboy #196 is the last issue of this series for which the cover logo appeared simply as Superboy.
Beginning with the next issue (#197), the cover logo would appear as Superboy Starring The Legion of Super-Heroes. That cover logo would continue to be used through issue #221. From issue #222 until this series dropped Superboy completely as a title character after issue #258, the cover title appeared as Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes.
